Multiple Faculty Positions, College of Emergency Preparedness, Homeland Security, and Cybersecurity

The University at Albany has received $75 million from New York State to launch an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Supercomputing Initiative. Through this investment, The College of Emergency Preparedness, Homeland Security, and Cybersecurity (CEHC) is launching multiple tenure-track faculty searches. CEHC seeks professors in each of its three departments and across the ranks of assistant, associate, and full professor. Expected start date for all positions is fall 2023.

CEHC seeks applicants for faculty across its departments: Cybersecurity, Emergency Management & Homeland Security, and Information Sciences and Technology. These positions will sit at the intersection of the respective departments and fields, within which they are being hired, and AI. In addition to departmental appointment, the new hires will be members of the University's AI Institute.

The University and College are committed to making a difference, by increasing justice, equity, diversity, and inclusivity in all its activities. Faculty and students are encouraged to engage with relevant communities in research and teaching, and the college has a strong record of such engagement both locally and abroad.
