Description:
Baylor University seeks to fill a tenure-track faculty position within the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience at the Assistant Professor level effective Fall 2026. We are searching for a collaborative faculty member with research, teaching, and/or service that will contribute to the success and excellence of our department. Research experience in health and behavioral sciences is preferred. The specific area of investigation is open but could encompass areas such as health psychology, behavioral medicine, clinical health, and health disparities. We invite applicants from clinical, biological, developmental, social, quantitative, epidemiological, and other health-related research backgrounds to apply.

Qualifications:
Required qualifications:
  • Possess an earned doctorate in Psychology, Neuroscience, or a related field.
  • Demonstrate a record of research accomplishments, and evidence of the potential to generate and maintain extramural funding commensurate with career stage.
  • Evidence the potential to effectively teach undergraduate and graduate students, as well as provide research mentorship.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Be able to contribute to one or both of our doctoral programs (Psy.D. and Ph. D. in psychology).
