Job Summary

The Perception, Robotics, AI and Sensing (PRAISe) Lab welcomes applications for a UAV Controls and Dynamics Engineer. The employee will contribute to the research and development of morphological flying robots, focusing on the design and integration of novel mechanical structures inspired by biological systems. Who We Are


We at Perception, Robotics, AI and Sensing (PRAISe) Lab, led by Prof. Chahat Deep Singh, work at the intersection of Perception, Robotics, AI and Computational Imaging in order to push the boundaries of robot autonomy. Our Minimal Perception framework holds the key to developing small yet intelligent and efficient robot navigation systems. We focus on active and bio-inspired perception algorithms, validating our theories by developing and deploying them on robots.


What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be


Responsibilities include conceptualizing adaptable aerial platforms, prototyping bio-inspired morphologies, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize flight performance and control under diverse environmental conditions.

What We Can Offer


The hire rate is $20.00 per hour, working 20 hours per week.

What We Require


Master's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
